My Anime Coloring Book (ぬりえ) Collection

A listing of all anime coloring books I've ever owned. I don't even know how many there are! This is just a personal archive for my reference, so please don't ask for any of the books listed here. Some have already been sold, others are not for sale or may be sold in the future. If I decided to scan a book and release it, that cover will be linked to the release post.

Again, these are my personal archives, so if you want access you'll have to comment here.

So far 296 and counting... yes, there are more... I know... I'm certifiable! lol

My Shoujo Coloring Book Collection

These books are hard to find in the USA or anywhere outside of Japan. They are not related to any specific anime or manga series, but are just general shoujo or girl coloring books featuring beautifully elaborate girls with big sparkly eyes, lots of hair and fancy dresses. These books played a big part in my childhood, I loved tracing them, copying them, making up names and stories for all the girls - they were just lovely to look at ^_^

Shugo Chara!

Slam Dunk

Speed Racer

Thomas and Friends

Tenchi Muyo

Tomica Trains and Trucks

Tonde Buurin

Ultraman / Ultrahero

Won!tertainment (this book is just too funny and cute :)

Wow!! You have an amazing collection of coloring books!! I especially like your shoujo coloring books!! I used to have so many when I was a kid and also loved to trace them over and over! I colored and lost all of mine when I was a kid. But now I am recollecting them again. I have few which I just bought recently which you might be interested in. Some of them are originally Japanese and some are chinese reprints from the original Japanese coloring books. If you like we can exchange scans. I have very high quality scans on hand.

About your first Joanna coloring book, you can find a scan of this book here http://picmaniac.pi.ohost.de/website/
I hope that this brings back memories!! I hope to see more on shoujo coloring books!!

i still have another box of coloring books to add too, sigh i never really kept track of them before... never realized i had accumulated so many...

sure, i'm interested in trades, just need to wait until i have soem free time to scan - i don't have many of my books scanned and cleaned.

hmm, those are actually my scans - the first ones i did a LONG time ago so the quality is poor... took me a year to scan and clean those as i had colored the originals and it took a while to clean them and it was the first time i ever did something like that - 3 internet pals also helped on that project, lol.

the marmalade boy scans were mine as well, i used to have a anime coloring website where i would scan and post images - but too many people would take and repost as their own, so i stopped.

Hamtaro Coloring Books?
Hello there~
I bought one of your Hamutaro coloring books the other day (the one with the pancakes and stuff on it). I noticed you have the coloring book with the hamsters going down the slide. Have you scanned that one before? I've been looking for scans of that for ages; I have a bunch of Hamtaro coloring book scans if you're interested too.
Thanks in advance~

Re: Hamtaro Coloring Books?
wow, this is an old post :)

Hi, I sent the book a few days ago, you should receive it soon.

Yes, I have scanned the book you mentioned, I'm always interested in trading scans, I'll need to clean up the scans though, they are still raw.

Hi, Welcome!

Welcome. I'm a techie, a fangirl, and an aspiring government employee, lol.

I have a tendency to attempt a little of everything, whether or not I have time for it. I'm a jack of all trades who is an expert at none... but that's okay - I like to learn ^_^

I do not take credit for the creation/distribution of what i'm sharing here. I'm only collecting them in order to share with others who are also interested. Plus it is also a good way to keep track of what I love.

However, the stuff scanned by me I ask that there be no redistribution outside of my journal.

I welcome new LJ friends, but please allow me some time to get to know you before I friend you back.
